With ten years of experience, spanning 41 countries, and approximately 19,260 folding chairs, John Welsh is a seasoned event producer and logistics planning professional. John operates best on his feet, and has experience working with academic institutions, non-profits, political campaigns, internationally broadcasted sporting events (such as the largest marathon in the world and two NFL games) and concert performances.

 

John is known for marrying his academic background in architecture with his professional, on the ground experience to plan, design, build, and execute events to match their creator’s vision.

 

It was somewhat by accident that John discovered his affinity for high-stress event work at the Distortion Music Festival while living in Denmark. Since then, he’s come to understand the power events have in bringing people and cities together in shared experiences that shape how the world plays and connects; and more often than not….with a nice cold beer.
